Is the lug nut cap covers silver paint or a speical paint

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
Hello, Mine Were silver plastic non metallic. I replaced them with aftermarket chrome metal retainers.

You didn't ask so, probably useless info but...this is how they would've arrived with the car from Bowling Green. During dealer prep, they would've opened the bag and installed them on the car.
