Trying to figure out if this is a special edition C4. Was told it was but they weren't sure what it was called. The original owners say the spoiler wasn't added on and it came like that. Any help would be great.

The only "Special Edition" cars for '86 were the Malcolm Konner cars, and they were Silver beige over black. What you have, if the color is Copper Metallic(paint code 66), and it is the original paint, is one of only four painted that color that year. That would make it "special". The rear wing is not factory. The previous owner may have bought the car with the wing on it, but it was NOT factory installed. More likely a dealer installed item. Looks nice, tho!
