I'm running into issues trying to locate a replacement fill plug (Item Number: 10140673). Mine is looking pretty beat up, with the 17mm hex just spinning. It doesn't have reverse threads or something odd does it? Anyone know of any good leads? Most online sites state the part is discontinued?

I bought two from Jim Butler Chevrolet Fenton, Mo. 63026 Ph. 800-764-6432 about two years ago. Hope they still have more. Hope this helps.

The plug is a regular "lefty/loosey-righty/tighty" pipe thread. If you cannot locate one at a dealer, you should be able to take it to a hardware store, and get a regular pipe plug for a replacement. Or you can contact Mike(or anyone else) at Rockland Standard Gear....they should have the correct replacement plug.

Be advised they are not NPT. They are metric pipe thread.
