well after the replacement went, got another sent out to replace the replacement and installed it tonite. only thing i did different was i let it run in my driveway for about a half hour then shut it off and then after a bit went out and started it again. figured i do a test run and went to the convenience store and made it back home. hate getting them defective parts.

Wet Distributor Problem....

It appears that the front mounted distributor is NOT the best place as the water causes problems.. I've replaced the second distributor yesterday .. Is there a cure for this wet distributor problem as the rain here if Florida is like a monsoon and why did the engineers decide on a front mounted distributor anyway.. It's ONLY natural that water will make its way and cut the engine off. Did GM have a remedy for this problem or is it my mechanic that's the problem???

 Thanks,

 Mike LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
