Hello all,

I'm trying to do a clutch job and of all things, I can't get the bellhousing off.  I have removed the 6 bolts and the two exhaust brackets but still no luck.

Are the locating pin just seized or is there something else I'm missing?  I'm reluctant to use a big hammer or randomly try to pry it apart without talking to you all first.

It is a 1993 LT1 with 80k+ miles that has never been apart.

thanks in advance,

Todd

They can get corrosion around the dowel pins and make it difficult to remove the bell. Be sure you have the front dust cover off, too. A few little love taps with a mallet should pop it off. Thumbs Up

6 should be all of them... (At least it's not the converter bolts LOL)
