Vette(s): 1995 Coupe Red, automatic, all original, haven't changed a thing -- except the tires, battery, stuff like that. You know what I mean!

I would like suggestions for tires.  I have a 95, same size tires all around.  Looking for tires that are for more than just around town.  I drive my Vette a lot and am planning a trip to Maine this spring.

Love my C4!

SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe

I good friend of mine is real happy with the Continental tires he has put on both of his C5s.  TireRack is a decent place to look for options.  Not saying you need to buy from them but there is lots of information on the different tires available through them that will help you when you go to your local tire shop.

I can second the recommendation for Continental tires.  I put them on my C6 and the ride was significantly better and quieter than the Michelins I had on before.  I also got them through TireRack but make sure you check the tire pressure after you get them installed.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.

I presently have Toyos on mine. Good water dissipation,  and while I'm not an aggressive driver, they seem to handle well.

I don't know how important exact tire sizes are but, when I replaced the ones on my 94 C4, I tried to get the same sizes. No one locally had them, so I ordered them from Amazon and had a local tire shop install them for $75.

Vette(s): 1995 Std Coupe Dark Purple Metallic Auto Trans Z07 Suspension Just under 23K miles (7.7.13)

My '95 Z07 also has the same size tires all around and I replaced the aging tires with a set of Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 all season performance tires;  the specs are similar to Michelin Pilots at a more reasonable price and I am pleased with the performance of this tire - very quiet, good grip in the wet, and although I don't do a lot of "spirited" driving, a good grip on dry pavement as well.  Although this Corvette now only has 40K miles on it, every several years it makes a 2,000 mile round-trip to Memphis (wife loves everything Elvis) with a stop in Bowling Green on the way home (I love everything Corvette) and these tires make that trip so much more enjoyable than the same trip with the previous summer-only performance tires.
