I was thinking of replacing my spark plugs but there is no way I can get to #2 and # 4 cylinders. I am assuming you need to have car on lift?  My next question if I put in new plugs and leave #2 nd #4 with the old plugs would it do any damage until I can bring it to my mechanic to do. The plugs that are in are AC Delco FR5LS.  Should I use a better plug?

Thanks for your help!!!

I have a bent handle flex head ratchet which I used with extensions to get to those plugs. I also had to remove the inner fender and turn the wheel to get to the #2 plug on my 90 L98. Did it with the car on the ground.

Remove tires and inner fender liner. You're also going to need a swivel ratchet. It is difficult but if you take your time, you should be good. I did mine during the winter and had to walk away many times and come back the next day.

I remove the right front wheel and the wheel well. yes you need swivel ratchets. To replace i use a piece of small diameter rubber hose that fits snug over the plug top end. this gives an easy way to start the plugs.  Also if you buy wires, make sure they are meant to fit. If there are no plug connectors with 45 degree bends you have an incorrect set, The bends are needed on a couple of plugs to clear the exhaust manifold. Patience is the key.
