Does anyone know of a source for the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts for an '87 C4? I have looked online and can't find them for that year, only newer years. Last night I was torquing my old bolts and snapped one off. I know I shouldn't have to buy new but at this point I just want to go that route.
I was using permatex blue. It was very strange, I was gradually increasing torque. The bottom bolt tightened up like you would expect. I got to about 90 ftlb. The top bolt was tight but kept turning and not "clicking" the wrench at 90. I was worried about my torque wrench so I kept going back to the bottom bolt to make sure my wrench was working and it would "click" indicating I was at 90. Sure enough eventually I heard the dreaded "SNAP" and the bolt broke. 125 ftlb is a lot for those little bolts so I would like to just go with all new ones. Now I am going to have to buy a new bracket most likely as well since the bolt broke off in it. I will try getting the stud out but well see.
Thanks everyone, the forum has been so helpful!

The CORVETTE vender catalogs will carry them. Corvette America, Corvette Central, BAIRS, etc.

Thanks a million. I had done several blind searches online and nobody had them. At your suggestion I went to corvette central and they had them. Really appreciate the help. Now I have some new sources for Parts.
