My 84 sits outside covered. It has always been a "driver". The engine was pretty dirty with some rust spots before I bought it. Any advice on products to stop the rust? Mostly just surface rust, nothing heavy. I went to a show last weekend and one guy swears by "1" step which looks like black paint after curing. He also mentioned POR-15.
I expect to paint over after treatment where necessary.

they do make a lot of rust treatment paints. por 15 is probably the most popularand have not heard anything bad about it.
