Overdrive 4th gear

Hi All,

So my overdrive engages in 2nd and 3rd gear without any problems, it engages in 4th gear because I can hear the revs drop but the minute I touch the accelerator it comes out of of overdrive. Any idea what this could be before I start replacing unnecessary parts?
