LT1 Died While Driving, Would Fire When Key Turned to Off

Hello, My ignition control module died. I bought and installed GM parts from Rock Auto...put a new coil and ICM. I suspect it failed because heat sink had filled up with oil after 125k miles. I used the pictured superlube between the ICM and heat sink. Hopefully if anyone elses LT1 just dies, these pics will help. Heres pics of removal and replacement.
