I have a 1984 Vette, and twice in the last year, all my alignment shims on the passenger side have fallen out.
The last time was less than five months after I had a professional alignment done.
Could there be a problem with the upper A-arm, or an issue with the bolts/nuts that are used when aligning the front end?
Or, could it just be the result of a poor attempt by the shop to tighten everything up after the last alignment?

Go to another alignment shop, have them replace the locking bolts. Two birds with one stone.
