it's been long awaited but finally got my new tires and what a difference. the old tires were a performance tire meant for summer and not so much for comfort. kept getting put off and this morning had all season uniroyal gtz put on the car. they also did a 4 wheel alignment on it too.
the difference in the ride is amazing. it's like i am in a different car all together.

I had similar experience. Over the years, I went thru a couple of sets of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS's and always did 2 at a time. Ride and handling was always good but not as good as I thought it should be. So last spring, I bought 4 new Eagles and switched to the "all season" tread and have been very happy with them. They also have the raised bead to help prevent curb rash which is nice too. Our local Goodyear dealer even matched the special Tirerack had at the time with free shipping! My biggest reason for sticking with the Goodyear brand was they are made in the USA

Way to go, RedVette89. Whenever there is a choice, I always go with "Made in the USA". I see why your Vette is red, because you're one of the "Red Blooded Americans".
GOD BLESS THE USA

I've had various versions of Eagle ZR's, GS-C's and F1's. My most recent set is the all weather F1. I agree, they are (relatively) quiet and handle well. They are the best I've had in the rain.
