I unbolted my first DANA 36, two nights ago........ did it a 7:00 o'clock at nite.... was finished at 11:00 o'clock at nite.............with no lift.... and hand tools.......2 or 3 inches of snow on the ground.... all i had was a tranny jack and 4 corvette rims (as my jack stands)....
It was very very EASY.....
(2) batman wing BOLTS
(4) dog bone Bolts
(2) shock bolts
(2) brake lines
(2) sway bar bolts
(2) emergency brake line fittings
(10) wheel lungs nuts
It came out complete JUST LIKE I THOUGHT........ I BELIVE the factory put them in just like that.
The donor car had no spare tire, exhaust, or transmission
My NEW rear end came from a donor car WITH 42,000 ORG MILES......
I traded 87 c4 hood for the rear end......
HELL OF A TRADE................
It took less time TO PUT the DANA 36 in.....but was a little harder.....
