Hi Corvette Folk,I just installed a new style coolant temperature sensor in my 1984 Crossfire Corvette. This is two wires,is it crucial which way around the wires are connected?I still seem to have a flooding issue, which is why I fitted the new sensor.Thanks.

Wiring for the sensor is not specific....one in, one out. Doesn't matter which one is which. As far as running rich/flooding, have you considered the injector(s) might be leaking? Fuel pressure regulator? Fuel pump? TPS issue? Is it setting any codes? Has the ECM/PROM been changed, or modified? So many questions.
