Vette(s): 1988 Corvette Hatchback. Interior and exterior Black. Automatic.
I have a 1988 Vette.  While replacing the water pump I was disconnecting the connector at the a/c compressor.  While doing so the two wires came out off the female connector.  I believe the green wire goes towards the rear of the vehicle.  I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this dilemma. Thanks.

Doesn't matter which way the two wires are installed on the connector....it will work either way. Wink

I just checked my 89.both connectors have D,C,pins  green to D,  black/white stripe to C pin.On the compressor clutch wires both wires are brown,it does not matter witch wire goes to D,C,pins its a coil. you need to get that a/c working.stay cool..
