Hello Ya'll  spent the afternoon cleaning under the hood and frt suspention.  I checked the frt brakes and they are bout half worn, the precived problem I have is the brakes make a clatter sond when applied as if the caliper is retracting to far.  is this a normal sound or what.  Also when I hit a bump it sounds like the frt suspention is gonna fall out but everything it tight??
Thanks, Be Safe

You may need to get it up in the air, and do a thorough inspection of the suspension....if it's sounding like something is gunna fall off when you hit a bump, then most likely something is loose/worn. Check the nuts on the upper a-arms, where the shims are, to be sure they are tight. Shock mounts/bushings, ball joints, control arm bushings, etc.
Could also be something that is not suspension making the noise, like underbody bracing, or even stuff like a loose horn flopping around....ya never know.
Not real sure about the description of the brake problem, tho....does it grind, squeal, creak, or what?
