Checked fuse power going to the switch assembly jumped the wiper motor and it is good . Could it be the switch assembly? And does the stering wheel have to come off If this is bad where can I get one ?

if you bypassed the switch and it worked then i would bet it is the switch. i would imagine the steering wheel would have to be removed in order to replace it. check our sponsors or zips corvette. you can try ebay also.

as far as i can remember the st.. wheel comes off as far as the switch check your local gm dealer there sould be alot of parts still available. gm stops produceing parts after 10 years its only my opinion please don't sue me.
