Vette(s):
SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
The back edge of the top should fit snug against the front edge of the "roll bar", the band of body that goes up and over the passenger compartment.  Make sure the car is sitting on a level spot and the top should drop right into place.  The bolts then can be tightened up without a problem.
