as some of you know my 90 got hit. the damage was fixed and had the whole car repainted. i was hoping to have it by the first of the year but got delayed because of the front bumper molding. body shop ordered it and gm said it was still available and it was in transit. he finally got mad and ordered one from corvette central. waited the 10-14 days and still didn't come and when he called they said it was on back order. there must have been a glitch somewhere as they told him they emailed him but he never received it.
anyway, we have tried all over the place to get one and today i finally did. will probably be getting it next week sometime.it came from a junkyard and the guy said that the bumper was no good to sell but the molding is in great shape.
as soon as it gets here we can install it on the bumper cover and then finally install it on the car. then we will epoxy in the louvres over the blinkers and foglights and then repaint the lower part of bumper and do any touch ups.

If you need anything else like that, let me know. There is a gentleman about 1.5hrs from my house who has tractor-trailer loads of new and used parts. I call him and pick up what I need. He used to be a parts vendor/Corvette repair/dealer etc.etc. He does not advertise, and asked me not to do it for him but said "come get what you need whenever you or your Corvette buddies need something". The parts there will blow your mind. I found 3 screws for my steering rack that are obsolete, Chevrolet dealer couldn't even find them for me. Last time I went there I almost rented a house to move into, I didn't want to leave! So let me know, I will help if I can.

It'll be ready to drive just in time for all the morons to get out for summer driving!!!
Then you can go thru this all over again!
Well...I hope not, but......
Glad to hear it's coming together Dave. Be careful!!
