The biggest benefit is at high speeds it keeps the rear tires on the pavement and most look great and make it your own. I have one on my 85 and at about eighty and up you can tell that the downforce has started. of course keeping it under the speed limit it's more for show.

I have one on my '84 as well, but my 'vette was a late production car...still trying to figure out if it's OEM or aftermarket and who made it. I want to replace the mounting rubber when I paint the car next year.

It's aftermarket. C4s didn't come with spoilers.

i see a lot of c4's that have them on, i was just wondering if the 84 had it from the factory. well you have answered my question. thanks. they do look good on the cars though.
