Hey got another stupid question for y'all How do the side marker lights work on the rear of my 1985 corvette both of the white lights left and right are they running lights and the little red one are they the turning indicators?

I don't know if an '89 is the same as my '95, but would guess they are similar. The red lights on the rear sides are on as long as either the parking lights or headlights are on; the white lights always come on with the backup lights. On a '95, the white lights on the front sides come on with the turn signal for that side as long as either the parking lights or headlights are on. Both features imo are just at the genius level, as you can't have too much light when turning or backing.
