Old Bose radio system

If you have a 1985 C4 and your old AM/FM Tape radio has quit, get rid of the Bose system as the speaker transformers will probably be shot. Buy your choice of radio and install it as you would as a NON-BOSE system. It will work better and no more problems!

I always recommend getting aftermarket radios from www.Crutchfield.com because they are experts in making sure what you are buying will fit/attached to your exact vehicle.

Depends on if you want to keep your car as close to original as possible.  There are several outfits that repair the Bose electronics (head unit & speakers) to "good as new" condition.

nah. .going all out... le Mans headlights, Lambo doors, and non-Bose Sony stereo system...

The old BOSE system is out and a new Sony is in palce with Cerwin-Vega speakers.. Sounds great! Putting it in permanently now...
