Hello!
Is the Manifold Air Temperature (MAT) Sensor located under the plenum on an '89 model? If so, that means the plenum must be removed to access correct?
Thanks!
Jeff

I just relocated mine a few weeks ago , Removing the top plenum is not needed. I found it easier disconnect it from the Passenger side , It's right in line with Cylinder #6 . I used a large flat head screw driver & Needle nose pliers. I would just advise you to make sure you're ready to relocate it ....Because it's a pain in the Arse to get back on ,unless you have really small hands. good Luck .

Relocated mine also. Makes a difference because you are now measuring cold fresh air instead of hot air in the stock position. Here is a link on Ebay for your '89 http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=1988+corvette+9th+injector+delete+kit&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X1989+corvette+mat+sensor+relocating+kit&_nkw=1989+corvette+mat+sensor+relocating+kit&_sacat=0
