i know there have been a few threads about weatherstripping. just want to bring a couple of points up that may be overlooked. after changing weatherstrip check on adjustments as installing new weatherstripping can actually create a leak as it may not sit exactly the same as the old one.
when i got my car back from the body shop there were still a few tweaks to be done and adjusting the windows was one. we did and everything was fine. i had replaced the strips on the side of top so they were basically new. when i got the new top, it fit great and thought nothing more of it until it rained. both sides leak now, so we will be readjusting the windows again. being that the side strips were almost new on the old top never really thought about adjusting it. just a hint to check adjustments at each change.
