My horn on my 93 works intermittently. I know the horn itself isn't bad because the keyless entry sounds when I walk away from the car. Do I have to remove the airbag to check if the problem is behind the horn buttons on either side? If not, how do I remove the horn buttons?? (Don't laugh, please!! I'm still learning how to work on my car!!)

could be the horns are bad. mine worked for the alarm system but would not work all the time. one was bad and replaced it. also check the ground wires first. corvettes are known to have ground problems. take off the ground wire on each side (bolted into frame by the horn) and clean the wire connection and the frame itself and then try the horns. try the easiest way first.

dont think anyone would laugh. it is great that you are trying to fix the car yourself and thats what this forum is about. all of us helping and sharing knowledge with each other. let me know how you make out.
