84-96 Corvette C4 Moldings Window Sweep Weatherstrips W/ Rivets Belt
The metal part that this rivets to is all rotted.
What is the metal part called?
Who sells this metal part? Or how do I make one?

Hello, There is a Corvette Parts Dealer in Florida. ECKLERS, is in Titusville. Give them a call, or get their catalog. It will be a great source of knowledge. 

FYI Ecklers is no longer in Titusville. I bought some parts wanted to pick them up and was told the building is empty. Sad day, I’ve been picking parts up at Ecklers in Brevard county since the 80’s. I saw my first ZR-1 there in 1990 when Chevy had one on display. 

If you’re able purchase the GM work manual and parts diagrams. I bought mine on eBay for a very reasonable price. It’s the Bible for C4s.

If you are referring to the strips at the top of the door through which the window slides up and down, they are called Belt Weather-Strip, according to GM Parts Direct;  the GM part numbers are listed below.  The GM website shows them to be discontinued, but I thought it might be helpful in your search to have the name and part numbers.

Right Inner - 14071842

Whoa! Ecklers? Thought you said they were defunct? I looked them up on the Net. They still have a site, and can order from them. 

I did not say they were defunct. I wrote that they were no longer in Titusville where they had been since the 80’s!
