As most of you know Im fairly knew on the c4 scene. Ive searched a few other places, but never really found a good resource for c4 audio setup photos. So if youve got a setup other than stock, Id like to see it. If you feel like adding  a discription of its capacity thats cool tooThumbs Up

I just upgraded my speakers in my 96 because the system is premium for me, but, not because I am one of those "I listen to my engine only" people.

Try snooping in photobuckets links for C4's...just a basic search...you might find some pics of your year and a sound system.

Here is a link to start:

I have a question maybe someone can help...  I just replaced the Bose setb up in my 84 and replaced the head unit as well with an Alpine system.  Now there is a definite lack of "Lows" and I'm toying with purtting in a free standing 8" sub woofer.  Anyone have any input or pro's or cons or has anyone had to replace their system and add a subwoofer?

Tones/sounds are all over the map when it comes to personal preferences.
I would put an 8" woofer correctly wired in with a slightly upgraded system.... in a heartbeat... free.
(I can afford free)   Thumbs Up

Professional installation, and/or placement????
If your current unit is simplex and not the powered speakerx4 set-up, installing the woofer yourself is easy, *if* stashing wires out of the way doesnt give you a headache...LOL

Thanks for the input..  I'm opting to have it installed by a local shop that does a lot of vettes and higher end vehicles..
