on 96 c4 do you have to use the light plastic head lights or can you use the glass ones i do not want to ruin my newly self installed motors

The plastic lamps are much lighter, which helps with the durability of the motors....that's one of the main reasons they went with the plastic lamps. You can use the regular lamps, if ya want, but it's not really recommended long term.
