Hi guys. My front turn signals are loose. The whole thing (lens, bucket). For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get to them to tighten them up. It looks almost like I would have to take the front bumper off to get to them. If anyone has done this, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think they are spring-loaded...at least they are on my '85, and one of mine is also loose, but I just never have taken a look to see exactly how they are fastened....sorry.

on my 90 they are fastened to the bumper stabilizer. if i remember correctly they have a carriage bolt that the husing slides into and tightens up. as i had the front of car apart it was easy. don't know if you can get to them without removing bumper. bumper is not that hard to remove just time consuming to tighten 2 bolts. one thing you always have to remember with a corvette... nothing is easy

Thanks. I'll check it out. Maybe i can get it up on ramps and remove the air dam under front bumper. I've had my "baby" now for five years and your'e right ,nothing is easy. I had to replace the shift selector in the console and had to take half the dash out to get the console out. It m can be a pain, but when you finish, your'e so proud. I know I am. Thanks again Eddie.

ook front bumper off and found they are attached by two carriage bolts at one end and by two pop in tabs on the other end. both pop in tabs and place where carriage bolts go were broken on both lights. had to buy new assemblys for both sides. new they were 279.00 each. found some used ones for 123.00 each(supposedly insurance approved).let you guys know what happens next.
