it took about three months but i finally got the front bumper moulding. it was from vettepros off of ebay. they had a complete bumper so i called and asked if they had just the moulding. he said he should have one on a bumper that was unsellable and to call back. i did and he said he had one and was soaking the nut in penetrating oil to remove it.
got it yesterday and took it to the shop. had to use a piece of the mounting strip from my car as there were a couple of the studs that were damaged. we cleaned it and scuffed it up and painted it. looks great.
will be going shortly and attaching it to the bumper and finally will get to install the front bumper on the car and finish it up.
the only good thing about the delay was that it gave me time to do things that i probably would have put off for later because i want to drive it. i completely washed the carpets which included removing the seats. removed the plastic covers from inside the car and painted them and a few other things.
i will be driving it soon!!!!!!!!!!!!
