Anyone else have a C4 that was the victim of a Circuit City installation of a Code Alarm back in the day…
It is still working but it is a nightmare of cut and splice…
BTW I discovered this when I dropped the bottom panel to install a new ignition switch cylinder,
the original one wouldn’t return to the off position…

Any insight would be appreciated!

Uff da...!!! That's quite the tangled mess. Another reason Circuit City went out of business. Sorry I can't be of any help.

Good Golly Miss Molly!!!! 😬😬😬 Rube Goldberg would be proud!
That looks like a headache and a half. I have had luck in the past on removing aftermarket alarms by just tracing where the wires go, and finding where the splices are. Where wires are cut and spliced into the controler, just cut and re-splice the original wires back together. That being said, I have never seen such a massive invasion of the wire snatchers. That might be a pretty serious project unless you can find the original installation instructions somewhere on-line, or someone that has installed several of those systems to remove and restore the factory wiring setup. Dang.....
