i have a 85 corvette,can the carpet be painted. it is new, but the color is gray.i would like it to be red.is it ok to do this.

You can dye the carpet if you want. Just check with some of the Corvette parts vendors(such as our sponsors here at C4VR
) for the correct type/color of dye. Most of it comes in spray cans, but you can also buy it in quart cans for spray gun application.
