If You notice that you developed a short in your electrical sytem, please check your wiring harness junction. It is located immediately behind the battery. I had a problem with my radio shorting out when I stepped on the brakes or turned on the turn signals. Later my instrument panel lights started to blink.
I also had problems with hard starts that required me getting a jump.
I noticed that the screw in the wiring junction was rusted and that the positive wires connected to the screw needed cleaning.
I replaced the screw with a new brass screw and nut in the plastic junction assembly. That solved my problems. Try this before going to the dealer.
