Will a 1996 bose system (Speakers, cd player, so on) work on a 1992 bose system car?  Or are they totally different?

My back 2 speakers amps are shot and someone local has the whole system minus the pre amp for sale.  His is the cd and mine is a cassette so this would be a nice swap.

I'm also curious.  I bought a whole delco bose system out of this guys car (was a 95 vert) for 100 bucks (Killer deal I know).

The back 2 speakers that I needed fit perfectly and I noticed the amps had black capacitors while my older 1992 amps had green one's.  Are the 95 capacitors better/more reliable or are they basically the same?

Vette(s): 23 from C3's to C5, including 5 ZR-1's 1 96 LT4. & 11 C3's. My current Corvette's 90 ZR-1 with ported 93 405hp. 2-82 CF & a 72 with Green Wood turbo body and 350 with old school DownDraft Turbo.

Check the color of the buttons I think they changed to white in 94
