I have some minor (I think) damage on the clamshell and am concerned about the repairs being very noticable without completely repainting the hood. It is Artic or Polar white, what ever it was being called in 95.
Does anyone have a recommendation on where to go in the Fredericksburg VA. area? Do any other registry member besides me reside anywhere near Fredericksburg?
thanks!

I'd suggest contacting a Covette Club close to you--I would think some of the members could point you in the right direction for a quality job. Not every body shop knows how to prepare and paint fiberglass so that it looks good and lasts with out cracking. I've seen some excellent work and some very poor work on fiberglass. Anyway that's my 2 cents--hope it helps

Vette(s): 1981 Great White Shark. Red Interior, 350/190 hp. PS, PB (SS), A/C CC, T-Tops. Served three years in Active Duty Army, then Retired Air Force after 34 years! Badger State Vettes Car Club. 175,000 Original miles!! Now own a 1998 C-5!
I suggest you look on the C3VR website. I think there are C3 members in that area. There is a map on that site of where all the members reside.

96LTI,
Thanks for the tip!
I plan to visit the Battlefield Club that meets at Radley Chevrolet on the 1st Thursday of each month.
I have resisted joining a group for 10 years because life is so busy without adding another monthly committment but realisticly, there are too many issues that Corvette owners have experianced and can share to pass up. So, I will go see what I need to do.
