New Owner of 1990C4, headlight motor on free wheeling. Need to remove the motor and replace internal parts once evaluated. How does the motor come out?
Thanks Art.

the easiest way is to take the whole head light unit out.

turn on headlights to open them and then disconnect the battery. there are two plugs on each headlight that have to be disconnected.  remove 4 nuts and the headlight unit comes out. there are 3 screws that hold the motor to the frame that you have to remove and also the roll pin so the linkage can slide off the motor shaft.

directions should come with the new bushings that go in the unit and when you are done installing them, make sure the headlight is in the open position and reinstall it on the hood. connect the two plugs and then reconnect the battery. turn off the headlight switch and lights should close.

any other questions just ask and hope this helps.
