Since I bought the car the speed display sometimes dims. This morning the speedo stayed dim and I noticed that all the right side instruments are dim too but the RPM gage stayed bright with the rheostat to bright. All the lights would dim further when I moved the rheostat to lower the brightness.

1. Are there multiple grounds behing the instrument cluster?

2. When I take the cluster out what should I check?

3. Does the 1990 use the Halogen bulbs in the cluster?
