Rear Compartment Area

Looking for repair information/instructions/parts for the rear retractable shade. Mine does not recoil as designed. Secondly, where can you purchase the carpet covered rear speaker covers? I currently have the black plastic covers although they are not OEM.

Corvette America should be able to fix you up on the speaker pieces. They have the solid and cut out pieces. Since they loom their own carpet, it should not be a problem asking them to send you a couple of pieces if you are buying something from them.

I realize I am responding to an old posting, but what did you find out about the rear retractable shade?  I just "re-subscribed" to the Registry.       Thanks, 82mike

 

 

I have not found any information to date. Actually I stopped looking since it is not a big item on my vette list to fix....sorry. Please let me know if you come across any parts sources, etc.

Well it's an extra one that came with some other parts that I wanted.I had to take the shade to get the rest of the stuff

I have seen several of these on ebay within the last couple months, I just checked and found none listed today but they are available from time to time there.

I think I have an extra one in my stash of parts.Stored inside so if it's there it won't be ruined. Let me know and I'll look for it.
