The mufflers are already gone.
I got some nice sounding stock looking mufflers from the silver '78 to try on the Pace Car. Also have a set of Flowmasters I want to try on the silver '78. the '80 got the ones from the Pace car.

Very nice that you can change out the mufflers for the PC. I'm not sure but the Pace Cars might have come with special chrome tips, if your looking to be original. The PC guys should know for sure.

darn Jeff, your a lucky guy, that's a beautiful looking Pacer Did you get the original remaining stickers with the car? If so I'd keep them in their boxes. I don't think 30 yr old decals would hold on very good

No Pace Car stickers came with it. The black has been repainted so maybe they where on at one time. The repaint wasn't the best, it's a good 10 footer. I like the decals. i just might pick up a set one of these days.
