Identifying John Silva Mako Shark II

I am almost certain that my 1969 Mako is a John Silva Creation, However I would like to be sure. Is there anyone that can help with Identifying this with ##s also where can I find out the complete build sheet data for this car, Engine opt, trans, gears, Colors, etc. The car currently has no drivetrain in it and I was told it was a Big block origionally. Please Help, Thanks, Anthony

When you say "They don't make 'em like that anymore", did you mean the car, or what was behind it?  You could poke your eye out with the nose of the Shark OR "those two things behind the car".  ALL very impressive. 

  I was thinking the same thing as chesh......high beam city!

C2 mako shark, folks.  C2 body...convertible...you know what they look like.  I would kill for one.  oohhhhh...excuse me folks...

Corvettes need high beams, but I don't think those came with the car as standard equipment.  Although the single guys may have a better chance if they have a Corvette.

The only thing my vettes have gotten me is broke!

It must have been a very cold day when that picture was taken, you can tell by ahhh.. the trees, there are ahhh ... no leaves on them.

I think we have gotten off the true subject here.

Can anyone help our new member simfab with his original question? Anybody know John Silva?
A build sheet will be next to impossible.
You might be able to trace back using the VIN.
Start with your state DMV.
Are you doing a frame off restoration?
Have you looked in the usual places for a build sheet?
Have you searched other sites?

Does anyone else have any ideas?
