82CE at local car show

I was in a local car show yesterday. Mostly street rods, muscle cars and rare cars. There were 5 Corvettes, one an 82CE. Looked brand new. The guy was the original owner. When he bought it, he planned to only drive it 1000 miles per year for the first 10 years. His driver vette is a 74.
Well, he now has 12,400 miles on it and he says he is going to start driving it!
Almost everything is original. He had to replace a small hose in the gas tank because it cracked. Other than that, no problems.
Just wanted to share with my 82CE friends.

Hope that you and him show up at the Vettes at the Beach event.   I'll be bringing mine there this year.

I asked him if he had ever visited the Museum. He hadn't.
I invited him to come in October for the C3X. Said he would think about it.

I asked him if he goes to Corvettes at Carlisle. Said he had gone a few years ago and might go this year.

Cool, I sold one back 5 years ago that had 7700 miles on it, the one I have now has 31000 and still is about 100% in and out..My other one had bad water spots on the hood decal..nobody could get them out? 

When and where is the Beach event you mention?
