Trying to find out how many 1978 pace cars had manual transmissions. I have heard 77.

It's more than 77 because there were 200-202 L82 pace cars with manual transmissions. There were 6502 Pace cars produced. I don't know what percentage of the remaining cars were manuals.

I still don't know why the L-48 was even offered in the Pace Car. The L-82 should have been part of the package.
