vacuum line?

On my 79 L82 air filter housing, there is a vacuum controled flapper valve in each snorkel. Where is this vacuum line connected to?
Also, on the rear of the carb, there are two vacuum ports, one upper, one lower, where do they go?

The two lines from the snorkels go to the temp sensor underneath the air cleaner and from there to a port on the bottom rear of the carb. I don't know what the other port is for, I only have the one, unless you are talking about the port for the power brakes.
