Need to get my smog pump rebuilt and restored. Heard about a guy named Hodel (not sure of spelling) from the NCRS folks. Anybody ever heard of him or how to contact him. John Greenhow was also mentioned. Anybody got a recommendation of someone reliable and reasonable?

Thanks,

I may be way off base here, but why wouldn't you just want to have it on the car for show and not working, appearances only? When they work, they just rob horsepower. Are you showing the car or going after a Bloomington award? If you're driving the car, just keep it in a box.
If it needs restoring, do some looking in Hemmings for sources to re-build it.

Mostly drive it to car shows. Would like to get an NCRS 2nd Flt someday - but still a lot of restoration to do.
