I picked up a set of Small block side mount/side pipe hooker headers for my 81 C-3,
Are there some tricks to making the install go smoother? |hammer|
It's got headers on it already so the special brackets are there...
Which way do these side mounts snake in at? |headscratch|
Thanks for any help,
Cheers, T.

Hey tyla, sorry I can't help you with your sidepipe issue but it's nice knowing that your still around.
By the way here is a vette I thought you would appreciate. I saw this at a small car show in Reading, Pa. last summer and was impressed with how much time and effort this guy put into her.

Happy New Year Tyla |cheers|

Sorry tyla, had to take pics off, needed the space for other pics.

Vette(s): 1976 Stingray, L48 auto Buckskin/Buckskin Leather originally. Numbers matching.
You probably already have them on, but....
They snake in from underneath.
I have the Hooker side mounts, and I put them on with the mufflers/tubes still on, with the car on jackstands.
The higher you can get the front of the car the better. Doing it without the tubes attached would had made it sooo much easier. If you can get access to a lift, it should be almost painless.
