Well, tried a different 180 stat finally and problem solved. Fans cycle and you can see the stat opening and closing via the temp gauge. I dont' quite understand the mechanics of what happened but, all's well that ends well!!

Vette(s): 1975 metallic blue coupe with t-tops,L48, t/t steering, black leather interior. 1990 L98, white/red leather interior, auto,a/c
paul, great to here it working right. know i had to change my stat so my fans would cycle the right way. they turn on at 195 and off at about 185. hope you are making up for lost time and driving it all over. Thumbs Up
