Anybody got any pics handy of the "seals" around the radiator and shroud?  Seems I'm missing ALL of them..Of course, since I don't have any..I had no idea they existed.

 Also, how does the the bottom of the shroud attach, mine is loose.

Over the winter I bought a seal package to install on "The Toy".  Haven't had time yet to tackle any projects since its homecoming the middle of last month.  I'll try to remember to take some pictures as I go about installing them.

I'm looking at the seals..and at the shroud/fan area... and I get nothing

I just don't see the how they fit...and of course there are NO instructions. And the books are zero help.....the pics SUCK !

Jim, there's a seal on each side of the radiator between the outermost end of the radiator and the shroud. Might have to take stuff apart to put those in.  The ones at the top I have pics I will email to you. I noticed the seal at the top of the radiator on the drivers side is not on the pass side. I noticed this on the white 79 so I went out and looked at the 78SA. Not there either. Shows it in the 78 AIM but probably didn't fit right(too tight an area) so possibly left em off. There is a seal on each side to the hood.   Mike

Thanks for the pics...it make a bit more sense now. Just the sides have me a bit confused.

I just read your thread,I was at a corvette show this past sunday and

picked up a catalog from dr. rebuild which has some great illustrations

of the seals,you can get a catalog from his web site www.docrebuild.com
