I received this question in an email from MK's78. He had trouble posting pictures, so I'm posting the question for him. I think he want to know what these capped off ports are for.

A few pix regarding a mysterious capped off port on my Q-Jet. I have found no unclaimed vac lines anywhere on or around the carb or intake manifold, except the upper fwd port ie:photo from the front of the carb. And yes with the engine running it does suck vacuum.

Not all carbs use all ports. It depends on the accessories and pollution equipment on the car.
I will take a look at mine and tell you exactly where it goes tomorrow. (My car is not home).
