Hi All,
Can anyone help me? I am looking to purchase a 74 from a mechanic that has a mechanics lean on it because the previous owner hasnt paid him for over 2 years now. How do i get a titile for the car if i purchase it?
Is this a lengthy process or something fairly simple?

In Ohio, the mechanic has to get the title, then it's a normal sale to you. He has the lean, not you. I did that once with a pick up when I had my shop.
